Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information FixGo collects, how it is used, when it is shared, and how users can contact us about privacy and account questions.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the FixGo mobile applications, support interactions, public website, and operational services connected to account creation, request handling, messaging, navigation, payments, and dispute management.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account details such as name, phone number, email address, role, and profile image.
  • Provider profile data such as services, categories, sub-services, work radius, vehicle details, pricing, and experience.
  • Client and provider activity such as service requests, notes, messages, balances, invoices, disputes, and support tickets.
  • Technical data such as device tokens, app version, platform, and operational identifiers needed to deliver notifications and keep sessions in sync.
  • Stored content such as profile pictures and service-related uploads.

3. Location and device permissions

FixGo uses location to show nearby providers, coordinate requests, display routes, estimate arrival, and update active services. The app may request access to photos or camera so users can upload or capture profile images. Notification permission is used for service updates, chat alerts, payment status, cancellations, and support reminders.

Some features may not work correctly if these permissions are denied. Users can change permissions from device settings at any time.

4. How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and maintain user accounts.
  • Match clients and providers based on availability, categories, and location.
  • Process initial and final payments, invoices, balances, and provider onboarding flows.
  • Deliver chat messages, operational push notifications, and service state updates.
  • Prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce payment obligations, and investigate account abuse.
  • Improve reliability, routing behavior, and support workflows.

5. Sharing and service providers

During an active request, limited information is shared between client and provider so the service can be fulfilled. This may include name, route-related location, service notes, status updates, and communication details required for the job.

We also rely on third-party providers that help us operate FixGo, including:

  • Firebase for authentication, Firestore data storage, cloud messaging, functions, and file storage.
  • Google Maps and related mapping services for routes, map rendering, and distance estimates.
  • Stripe for payment processing, provider onboarding, balance operations, and identity-related flows where enabled.

6. Payments and identity

Payment data is processed through Stripe and related payment systems. FixGo may store operational payment identifiers, card summaries, transaction references, invoices, balances, and payout state, but does not intentionally store full card numbers on its own public website.

Provider identity and payout status may be used to control when a provider can receive payouts or complete certain financial actions inside the marketplace.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet operational needs, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce payments, and maintain internal records. We apply reasonable security measures, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. User choices

Users may be able to:

  • Update profile information inside the app.
  • Manage notification and location permissions from device settings.
  • Request support or account deletion.
  • Contact FixGo regarding privacy concerns, billing disputes, or legal questions.

9. Contact
